If you are looking for someone to design you a
website with lots
of bells and whistles... blinking lights, animations and Flash presentations that take forever to load, Java
windows that keep popping up in front of the viewer's eyes, and all the rest of the
"totally awesome" stuff you see crammed into other sites....then you are in the
wrong place. I'm sure you will have no problem finding someone who will be more than happy
to charge you exorbitant amounts of money to give you all this.
Actually, if that is what you really want, I'll be happy to charge you
exorbitant amounts of money to give you all this.... but I don't recommend
it.
If, on the other hand, you are looking for someone to create a
site for you that is easy to read, quick to load and navigate, and provides the information the viewer
is seeking, then you have come to the right place.
I've been designing sites since 1996 and have been
through all the new fad designs that came and went. I try to give each
site it's own personality. I don't have a "set" of backgrounds,
templates or "buttons" for you to choose from. I design each site
depending on the nature of the content and try to use colors and graphics
that the particular company has been using in it's logo, menus or business
stationery. If I'm designing a personal site, I try to get as much
information I can about the person in order to design the site to reflect
their personality.
I provide you with a login and password to your
site as it is being developed. This allows you to view the progress
and give feedback as the design work is going along. I find this saves
you both time and money, as you can make changes early in the design instead
of after the completion.
